The lower interest rate announcement provides a good opportunity for investors to take their money out of AJX, put it into a blue chip for a short period and ride the rise that usually happens in equities after a rate cut.
The assumption would be that we remain stagnant until further significant announcements and there remains the opportunity to buy back in before AJX starts to rise again.
