Ha ha, nothing like personalising commentary to try and rule the regulars eh?! I purposely chose my moniker to emphasise that I don't take myself too seriously and that my comments shouldn't be read as particularly substantive.
It is a superficially 'free' market, but rarely is it transparent - do you honestly believe that the on screen bids are representative of true buying and selling interest at given prices? If so I'd advise you to tread cautiously at this end of the market...
To really break it down for you, most sellers wealthy enough to hold >$500,000 of a single small cap stock would either employ a broker to 'manage' the exit of such a large parcel more effectively/efficiently or know better how to do so themselves. More likely it's some waving their proverbial for fun or an attempt to skew the market picture unrepresentatively.
