Don't be so sure split, there's a product (made in victoria i think) that is a DYI spray for your home's exterior (or anything else for that matter) which (if I remember rightly) uses a surfactant to create a matrix of water, it lasts for about 8 hours and you can spray it on as a bushfire approaches, the video's look impressive but it costs about $800 for one application (when do you decide to use it?!?!) Different tech but imagine something with AJX stuff in it, the market would be big if the price was right, australia, california, etc etc....
