Maybe, and this is just maybe, Dirk has seen this last quarter as his first chance to under promise and over deliver. Clearly Sp is not looking great, particularly after a successful CR at a higher price. Now if a ceo was generally worried about what was going on you would think an update would have been forthcoming.
So maybe he is so confident the upcoming 4c (and he would definitely know by now) is going to be good, he is not worried about giving out an update until then.
Nothing like a bit of positivity for a Sunday anyway.
