Dear Shareholders, NEWS ON ALEXIFLAM™ AND ALEXICOOL™ MARKET DEVELOPMENTSAs Alexium continues to increase both top line sales and bottom line profitability, I wish to provide an update on progress in Australia and in Home Fashions in the United States. ALEXIUM INCREASES SALES OF ALEXIFLAM™ IN AUSTRALIA Chemiplas Pty Ltd, the exclusive distributor of Alexium products in the Australian textile market, has received additional orders of Alexiflam™ for customers with a global footprint in the textile arena. This new order of Alexiflam™ will be used in this customer’s contract fabrics and home furnishings line to service several retail stores as well as the hospitality industry. This revenue is in addition to the initial Australian based sales communicated to the market in December of last year. This customer, who has asked for anonymity to gain an initial market advantage, specializes in woven textiles and innovative finishing technologies. Their products are used across many different countries and markets. Building upon Alexium’s recent success, this second Australian customer for Alexiflam™ helps build on the initial foothold in the Australian home furnishings industry. Alexium’s Alexiflam™ FR technology stands above other competitive products in the FR market space due to Alexiflam™ being performance enhancing, cost effective and environmentally friendly. This has allowed Alexium to recently target the global blackout blinds market with several initial market successes. Alexium will be visiting Chemiplas as well as their customers mid-2017 to secure more accounts in Australia. ALEXIUM SHOWCASING ALEXICOOL™ AT NEW YORK-BASED HOME FASHIONS MARKET WEEK Alexium will be present at upcoming New York Home Fashions Market, with a showcase of products including pillows treated with Alexicool™ phase change material (PCM) technology. Alexium has been developing products for the pillow market since late 2016 and having Alexicool™ treated pillows on display in such a major forum for the bedding industry so quickly, shows the capability of our product development team to respond to market demand. The New York Home Fashions Market focuses on home textiles directed at volume retailers and showcases products such as window treatments, bedding, bath, table linens, kitchen textiles, floor and wall coverings, and allied products. Displaying products with our PCM Alexicool™ technology in a finished product for major retailers and suppliers in the bedding and home furnishings markets allows Alexium to gain exposure to a large majority of end markets whilst providing customers in all stages of the supply chain visibility into the true value of our PCM Alexicool™ technology. These two news items highlight continued progress across the FR Alexiflam™ and PCM Alexicool™ markets which continues to underpin strong revenue growth for Alexium.Thank you for your continued support as shareholders.
