Seems daft selling a company with such a steep growth trajectory. Yes, maybe Lithium prices moderate a bit into 2023. Yes, maybe the stock was priced on an aggressive multiple. But is ~AUD 8Billion ($5.4 Billion USD) too big a MC ? Especially when something like Alermarle is North of USD 25 Billion.
Imo the growth in sales of EV's and Hybrids will be exponential from here. Anybody with a teenager in the house knows this. Yes there is probably enough Lithium in the ground to eventually satisfy demand, but anybody that has watched this space for a while knows that supply growth never meets expectations. Whether it is because of Soil Chemistry, difficulty financing in a nervous market for capital, or simply over estimating the ease with which a project can be delivered....
AKE has mitigated just about all of these problems. They have great projects. They know how to deliver them and they have the money to build them.
It is my firm belief that we will see prices north of $20 for this stock during 2023.
Just IMHO
