Can anyone give me some reasoning as to why LTR's market cap and AKE's enterprise value are give or take lets say basically the same?
People are actually buying LTR now at a price they are unlikely to get back if it's sold off? Makes no sense to me. I like LTR as a general miner, but I don't see the play over there at this point. LTR is not even fully funded to production and comes with all the risks of commissioning a complicated mining operation.
On the other hand AKE is as diversified a lithium miner as you could get. Multiple sources of cash incoming. Projects in the pipeline. Livent merger (which I actually am on the fence about).
Again, not at all saying LTR should even be less than its current market cap, it clearly should be sitting around $3. But I don't get AKE's valuation at all just in pure comparison. Any insights from anyone?
