I agree there is no selloff and definitely the game of manipulating the SP down to accumulate is the name of the game. A small group of players with large and deep pockets are running the game.
A quick perusal of the daily course of sales will show, at times, up to 60% of sales / purchases are less than 100 shares – a large proportion of these are single share sales.
So, either the group of players have an arrangement with disalloweds where they don’t pay brokerage as per normal and are willing to pay brokerage on single share sales. This assumes they fully expect to cover those hugh brokerage fees in due course
Do a little spreadsheet experiment – you’ll see what I mean.
Another thing which I believe is that their trading algorithms are set to push the SP down on good news.
