There is no objective or quantifiable way to calculate the lead.

Imo, these 3 or 5 year lead claims were just BS.

BRN, being a small company, obviously took long enough to bring this to commercialisation, but a company with plenty of money and resources could do it quicker, if they manage to find a similar tech.

No one can claim that Neuromorphic is the ONLY way moving forward.

If someone brings in a technology similar, that is easier to get to production, it is still a viable and lucrative option for these big companies.
Let us not forget, apart from Renesas and Megachips, not many companies have fully committed to this, and even for those two companies, the million dollars they paid, they could view it as a cost of doing business and move on.
Companies burn cash in terms of research all the time.
