I believe Akida 3.0 will concentrate on having much more internal memory within the Akida cores which will enhance its onchip learning capabilities and allow integration with generative AI at the edge...it's the logical next step.
While this is happenning, Renesas will also be evolving its chip architectures with ARM to cater for any future changes...new tech needs to be flexible in this way and it can only arise from integrating the IP of partners...i.e, you don't have to throw away the whole computer to upgrade the CPU!
