My view is that when Akida1 is available, it will be detrimental not to implement it, as you'd be be giving your competitors a potential advantage (e.g. when wide-angle camera lenses became available on mobiles, they were implemented quickly by Apple, so they could be first to market, rather than waiting for a more perfect version) .
