Great find again Fact Finder. It is something I have been thinking about for a long time. I work in manufacturing of civil construction equipment and we use a lot of drive parts (bearings, pulleys etc). One of the biggest and most recognised brands in the world is SKF. They have a product that records vibration and other data on machinery (mining, manufacturing etc) where bearings, pulleys, conveyors, linear motion parts, automatic greasing units etc are used. These sensors log the data and that data gets sent back to an SKF centre that manually evaluates that data to advise if that equipment is wearing out. This monitoring and analysing is a massive area that Akida in conjunction with current sensor technology can really revolutinize. Maintenance and breakdown planning and monitoring is a huge area, especially in mining and manufacturing.
