I don’t mind a takeover if the price is right. For me, that would need to be roughly 10 times current share price or higher.
AKO will have to find a fair bit of equity money soon to build a mine. That means either selling a chunk of the project or diluting shareholders.
A takeover offer that gave an equivalent or better value per share compared to suffering that dilution would make sense.
This is all wishful thinking right now, but I think the takeover rationale is growing.
