The company does a great job of explaining the project. However, they never go into comparing where we stand compared to others, which I think is our greatest strength.
I've just posted my views and why I've invested. Madagascar Government has been extremely proactive, presentations in Perth, committed to building a port bypass road. Progressing other projects in country. Its just a little slower than we hope. The worlds eyes are on them so you can understand why they want to make sure everything is right.
PFS should be in the next few months.
I'm expecting off the back of this the Government will give us an MoU.
I expect the PFS to improve on the scoping study due to additional mine life, optimisation of the scenario's using low capex while operating the haulage to port. It will be interesting to see how much lower grade can be upgraded and what cutoff can be used.
With a compelling PFS and approvals in place, our last major hurdle that I see is funding. With those in place and the underlying advantages of the project you would think it will be a desired project for multiple companies. Hopefully creating competition to achieve the best possible outcome for shareholders.
And who's better to negotiate a deal than our own ex BHP chairman??
