There was recently a video published from FEX at a conference in Sydney.
It is interesting to see the size of their operation in terms of the amount of equipment and infrastructure for 1.3Mt
AKO will be looking to probably start at that level, and then scale up to around 2Mt.
FEX are also producing at about $60 USD/t, whereas AKO are expected to be around the $40 USD - $50 USD dollar mark on the cost curve.
The big advantage FEX have is their vehicles can have 4 trailers, whereas AKO can only have 1.
FEX also have unloading and storage facilities, but I would imagine these would be relatively cheap to build in Madagascar, compared to Australia.
Anyways, not a lot of new information, but a indication of the scale of the operation and size of the equipment fleet required to produce where we'd like to start.
