"Best Ore In The World (pt 2)"
It seems like the ore is in "soft siltstone", and I understand that this means it is less energy intensive than traditional iron ore processing compared to the places like the Pilbara.
Also, the majority of the ore mined in the Pilbara is hematite, and not magnetite, so not really apples and apples.
Again, HIO are grinding to 40 microns VS 75 microns (and potentially 100 - 150 microns) for AKO.
There is still a lot more analysis to be done on the ore at Bekisopa, and whilst I have no idea how "hard" the material is, or how freely it liberates, BUT we can possibly assume it liberates pretty freely given AKO are achieving comparable grades at almost twice the grind size.
I am sure we will get more details around this as the studies progress, but until then it is wild speculation and best effort guesstimates.
