Vertigo, as an atheist I support NO religion; but as a supporter of those values which collectively define us as Australians I support the freedom to choose one's own religion, including an Islamic one. Consistent with our values I do however reject the imposition of 'Sharia Law' and any variations thereof.
Given your response to my earlier post; how is the political oppression of people's religious beliefs 'liberty'?
Further, since as far as I'm aware there is NO Islamic Party in Australia and NO plans to launch one; what is ALA really on about?
