alacer and fml?? australian newspaper, page-31

I have never been a shareholder in FML, but as the goldfields are my old stamping ground i have always retained an interest. Most holders would not be aware that Alacers, Higginsville operation contains an onsite mill, which in turn is a lot closer to the Mount Mine than Coolgardie. It is also a lot closer to TI but would require a copper circuit to be bolted on to the existing mill, that is if TI was found to be commercialy viable. I dont know why mining production costs are so high for FML. I do have my own thoughts and they are not very complimentory to management, but FML is not the only mining company that needs to take a serious look at there culture and expertise and i am talking about from the top down. So many companies in todays mining world have too many chiefs and not enough indians, but worse than that they dont listen to the experienced hands on operators on how things can be improved.
