After rewatching the program one point sticks out in my mind.
Looking at what happened with Macarthur coal and their attempted acquisition of Gloucester, resulting in a possible auction of Macarthur itself.
Perhaps this proposed LGL, NCM deal will put the spotlight on Newcrest as a takeover target.
