Just posting a summary of my review of whether the San Anton Field, which lies ~9km to the NW of Alameda-1, could be an Upper Sheet Play analogue for Alameda-1's Upper Sheet discovery. If this is the case, then IMO this would materially de-risk, on production test success, the appraisal & any subsequent development for Alameda-1's Upper Sheet discovery.

I had initially assumed that the San Anton & Majaguillar Fields were Lower Sheet plays due to all of MAY's leads and prospects in Block 9 were Lower Sheet plays and as no direct mention was made by MAY that these fields were not Lower Sheet Plays. However, the potential of the discovery in Alameda-1's Upper Sheet obviously brings the Upper Sheet Play into very strong focus, and a close-by Upper Sheet Play field analogue is extremely important for de-risking of appraisal and development work.

In summary:
I located one reference in a 2017 IP that implies strongly to me that the San Anton and Majaguillar Fields are likely to be Upper Sheet Plays. This is NOT explicitly stated but IMO can be inferred from the comment. Other information, summarised in Slide 4, further strengthens my belief that the fields are very likely Upper Sheet Plays.
Was not able to locate any further information on the internet etc. so if anyone comes by any information on these fields would appreciate it if it could be posted.
