A silly notion FD but perhaps everything done in this world should not just be about making money?

Anyway it has already been stated that they won't transport it back because the danger is in movement.

Miles...I am not sure where you can find any ground that may not be subject to Earthquakes. You could try and minimize the risk but no where would be 100% safe.

The only way is for the waste to somehow be neutralized and I assume that is not possible.

I am neither for nor against nuclear power but it does make me nervous. There are way too many nutters in this world now who would happily see the world destroyed.

I think it will happen though and hopefully it will be a decision not purely based on economics
