Good debate guys , valid points from both sides of the fence.
I'm sure somewhere someone will have some data showing a comparison between TA and fundamentals over time but it is probably similar to the real estate vs stockmarket argument. The statistics can give you any answer you want depending on how you design the model.
Interestingly , for ESG to provide a return of 6% over the last year it would need to go up 5 cents so 82c to 87 c. Not too hard to imagine really. And depending on your taxable income , the tax would be less.
Ah , the challenges of the stockmarket !
