Gents,
Ships only turn up and get filled if they have somewhere to go. Miners only mine if they have ships to fill. So don't talk over supply. Iron Ore and Met coal never sits around waiting for a home.
But when the steel plants are not under production pressure, they bargain hard and drive the price lower. When they are under the pump to produce steel, they take material at a premium to ensure they get the supply they need in terms of chemistry.
So we have a lagging Asian steel production, had to happen at some point.
