The reality is that the GFC brought every other developed country to its knees.

Meanwhile, here in the land of Oz, after engineering and steering us through the ravages of the GFC we rewarded Kevin Rudd in June 2010 by removing him as PM; even while Labor still had 53% 2PP.

Small wonder mainstream Australians still shake their heads about it and have lost so much faith in how our combative parliamentary system 'works'. We desperately need a leader prepared to lead the country through the reform of our Constitution and who can ensure that all Australia's socio-economic cylinders are firing well.
