With about 12 months to the next election Tony Abbott still has time to address what the public expects of an alternative government he seems likely to lead:
. A vision of what our future will look like and how that will be achieved.
. The ethical and social standards that will accompany the election of a Coalition Govt.
Before Abbott can deliver for Australia he must first get his own house in order. People with whom he is on a first name basis should not trashing social norms without his strong and unreserved public repudiation of such behaviour.
Abbott needs to have a long chat with Malcolm Turnbull about how it's done!
