Indeed; if you refer back to my earlier post you'll see mention of the 30,000 who marched in Melbourne in protest against what happened to Jill Meagher and with no reference to party politics:
Mainstream Australians of all political persuasions are sick of the hate and vitriol that has come to characterise our media and which has spilled over into our streets as intolerance and violence.
We need to send clear and unambiguous messages to those in our media that by virtue of their privileged and powerful positions they have responsibilities back to us!
