Lapdog, Abbott is on borrowed time, he has a massive image problem & has made to many promies that are either unpopular (paid parental leave) or unachievable ( rescind CT & MRRT)
The Libs would struggle to detail how they would keep these promises & considering the CT has become a non-issue that is not going to be a vote winner & the direct action plan will not appeal once how it would be funded becomes transperant.
Safe stratergy for the libs will be to dump Abbott for Turnbull & come up with simple safe policy, Turnbull is aready popular & he doesn't need to buy votes, just demonstrate a responsable moderate approach
