Today the news comes that he has walked away from his post as Chairman of the Sydney Theatre Company, that organisation notorious now for the stunt pulled in November 2023 by actor-activists appearing in Palestinian garb in hostile opposition to Israel in the immediate aftermath of the Hamas terrorist attacks upon Israel on the 7th of October.
Joyce was appointed in late 2022 to the post of Chairman of the Sydney Theatre Company, thus aligning himself with the far - Left activist Cate Blanchett and her husband Andrew Upton.
Joyce took leave of the post in October 2023 and has not returned since. Joyce has had nothing to say then or since on the hijacking stunt pulled on unsuspecting theatre goers at the STC in November. What kind of person is Alan Joyce? How much loss and damage has he caused to Qantas employees over many years and to so many Qantas frequent flyers and patrons generally? How much damage has Alan Joyce caused Qantas and Australia? Does he care at all? It does not seem so.
