Oh so we're all experts on CEO pay levels? The fact is he is underpaid for an organistion of this size and deserves a pay increase else we wouldn't attract people of his calibre.
By the way, 96% of shareholders agree with me.
In my opinion, I am disgusted with the Unions and the employees destroying the company value. The simple fact is you have priced yourself out of a job and now the company is looking for cheaper alternatives to stay competitve.
Isn't this a global market place? Wasn't Julia Gillard just doing a speech on global trade practices - preaching for world countries to avoid protectionism?? Isn't this just what the Unions are doing? Protecting their overpaid members?
Seriously, what employer can guarantee the job of any employee????
