Yes lots of armchair experts out there that wouldn't have a clue !
I am sure staff would accept wage freezes if the BOD stopped getting obscene payrises of 80% !
As i suspect is the case with pilots and FAs, engineers are quite a dedicated to their career and safety. All they want is a fair go, and to maintain QFs standards and safety.
But unfortunately management are hell bent on dismantling engineering and lowering standards.
Most of my mates who have been there for 30 to 40 years have left, those that are still there cant wait to get out of the place.
Quite sad really, pre 1994 you could not have found a more dedicated, professional and happier bunch of employees.
Poor management has a lot to answer for !
