DB plenty chatter on general forum re a FAA proposed directive for all 777 versions.

The interesting part i just read directive and something as simple as 'forward and aft grey water drain mast material was the issue.
eg quote from proposed AD 'this proposed AD would require a one time inspection to determine the material of the forward and aft grey water drain masts.For airplanes having composite grey water drain masts,this proposed AD would also require installation of a copper bonding jumper between a ground and the clamp on the tube of the forward and aft grey water composite drain masts'

This AD was proposed after finding burn marks on a 767 mast made of metal.
As mentioned in AD possible result slow decompression rendering all unconscious and loss of essential equipment for safe flying it forward mast effected.
Not trying to sound like an engineer just repeating, but it does raise questions at least in my simple opinion of the extensive use of composites.
787 has a lot more composite .

Maybe qan maintaining their old 767's and 747's may prove a selling point.
