I'm thinking it was probably a very clever strategic move in a market such as we have seen over the past few weeks to offer a large parcel, if that's you're price point, test the stamina of the register, while very likely getting taken out by any planning to exit. It would take a while to pick up 500k in this stock without driving it higher, but on a day such as today with the largest falls for 18 months, you might just pull it off in one hit. The fact that it wasn't taken suggests the sellers are not the larger rational holders, but ones influenced by the placing of this sort of bid. If I was in the mood to go, I definitely would have taken it. If the US bounces tonight, I'll bet it's not there come Monday.

Still, it is "Encouraging" to know there are some fairly wealthy investors out there still planing on taking a sizable position in little PGC, 500k nearly gets you in the top 20 in one hit.
