    totally agree with you ASF,,,,,,that announcment on friday had plenty in it to justify,,,,,

    but he saw things differntly,,,,he expected a rise?,,apparently when you downgrade production again,,,,cut the DIV and announce huge writedownss across all the assets not just Lihir which has been the sole focus you increase in market cap
