Of course you can choose to ignore that portion of world history when attemtping to view and understand the current world events, but that self-induced blindness will probably only benefit those who would seek to reproduce the initial success of national socialism in Germany by much the same methods, albeit somewhat disguised and sugar-coated...

The demand that any reference to national socialist and hitler renders any argument null and void could only be proposed seriously by those who find the policies of national socialism to be worth reproducing and so wish to avoid any valid comparisons...
