in general, Brombarb states that this overriding 1.6% royalty that GB has assigned to Geokinetics,
covers the Alkaid ground... (which Otto is not part of, of course)...
if this is correct, then the question remains, why did Nabors hold a liens notice over the Alkaid prospect for about a year or so, soon after the drill completion due to them claiming some 9 or 10 mill USD unpaid from GB, which was then lifted or settled (?) some months ago...
and now GB is giving Geokinetics an overriding royalty on that ground as well ?? hmm...
nevertheless... the Alkaid drill data is going public in mid May of this year...
so who knows what, if anything, comes out of that...
(i have to note, that i have not had a chance/time to confirm that the Geokinetics royalty ground is in fact the Alkaid area... am just posting this here, cos Brom asked me to, as he is only a member over on lse)
