At a time when one superpower has invaded a European neighbour and another superpower is sabre rattling about invading another, there are actually people so provincial and insular in their outlook to believe a new Australian PM shouldn't be traveling to engage with our allies. The previous government slaughtered billions flip flopping from one submarine class to another, yet these odious peanuts squeal over the cost of a plane fare for the purpose of strategic engagement. Though they talk a big game when it comes to patriotism not for one moment do they have this nation or its interests at heart.
