Yes farming practices have improved, has been a deliberate ploy to increase calorie intake resulting ina nation where 1 in 3 are now fat. A deliberate ploy would only be your opinion.
Many countries who are the most progressive like the USA which we generally follow life expectancy I understand is now falling. Socialism ALWAYS fails!
Once it was because a lot of babies died which changed the numbers, now it’s because people are fat and eating junkyes capitalism has worked well, unfortunately its now creating massive inequality which leads to a poor functioning society. It is the recent trend to Left Wing Socialism / Communism with it's identity politics and DEI BS that is causing our societal collapse.
