Negative gearing is definitely going to be floated after the next election. Capital gains tax concessions will also be thoroughly debated. Franking credits will also be on the agenda. Keatings legacy will be destroyed by the next ALP government and they will suffer the consequences for having abandoned Keating's great economic legacy.
When the franking credits system is abandoned Labor don't realise that they will inherit more welfare applicants who have relied on franking credits to fund their retirement. But let them do as Labor does, make a mistake and reap the consequences.
Elimination of capital gains tax concessions will of course discourage capital investment, but don't tell the ALP that, they wont understand.
Eventually Labor will have their class warfare implemented, workers versus non workers, discourage enterprise, encourage workers to aspire to be welfare takers. That's Labor, and two terms will bring these changes.
