all of the discussions about ng and cgt and the like are wastes of time

all of these mechanisms are in place and tinkered with because governments walked away from the ONLY thing that works ----------------- social housing.

to be wasting time talking about, changing or tinkering with any mechanism to get private enterprise to be the solution to housing in australia is ridiculous

governments need to get back to social housing - they need to do it asap, they need to do it and mandate large minimum numbers in all areas - by LAW -- every council area in the country MUST have a minimum of housing for social requirements and welfare


the issues for Oz are the political philosophy to do such, the political guts to execute it - and now - even if you did the aforementioned - who the hell could build such

it all requires big steps, radical steps, a total change in philosophy - massive amounts of guts and funding - and some very creative thinking for how one actually does it

all of that is way beyond the vision and imagination of Australia --------- housing in Oz is a massive fail via a spectacular lack of vision.
