Albanese considering banning Chinese EV ?

Being unable to block Chinese EVs by raising tatiffs as we have no automobile industry to protect, is our chinless wonder of a PM trying to find an excuse to ban Chinese EVs at the behest of the US ?.
The moronic idea that Chinese EVs can be controlled remotely from China and and that Chinese EVs can present a security threat is simply to mimic the scaremongering tactics used by the US to surpress China's economic growth.
I look forward to the day that our government will help the less fortunate in our population by allowing purchase of a brand new EV for less than $15,000.
