Yeah, I agree to a point with what you're saying but I don't see the division in everyday life. You have your fringe dwellers on both sides of the political spectrum making as much noise as they possible can, but really, the everyday Australian is going about their business like they normally do.
I rarely watch the news and it gives you a different perspective/outlook. I find myself to be much more critical when it comes to both parties. I hold neither in high regard. When you're saturated with the same thing over and over again (media) it can have a massive impact on your perceptions and behaviors.
