I've often wondered about all of this, and PMs here and there going to Mardi Gras and other such events. Or is it a more convenient way of action against radical regimes like those in Afghanistan and other Taliban states or countries that have strict Sharia-type laws in Islam. or is it building a stronger voter base.

One thing for sure there isn't going to be a Mardi Gras in Afghanistan for quit a while, they have a very straight forward approach to the situation.

I wonder if these heads of states are using this to slowly destroy places of such strict religious systems. It's a bit like the UKraine war, one wonders about other outcomes of consequential world events and the real motives.

It's always a war of some kind but it's different events being dressed up as something else, in all the confusion of men and women and their definitions there is a more evil demon silently entering the room, but no one seems to notice. As it looks just like someone dressed up in a devils costume getting ready to have some innocent larrikin fun at the Mardi Gras. No obvious pitch fork in hand yet. but that is probably because it is being sharpened and prepared.
