I was originally diagnosed with oversize prostate, 12 months later, a finger up the bum detected a lump, PSA test and Pet scan found 98% of my prostate was a tumor.
After 80 radiation treatments, and 3 years of hormone injections, I was told I needed to wait till the last of the hormone implants was at least 6 months old BEFORE a PSA test can confirm final success.
EVERY PSA test, EVERY PET scan, EVERY operation, EVERY radiation, Every Hormone implant were covered by Medicare, My final PSA test is due in 3 weeks, so if I need to pay, so be it.

I worry that men will not get the PSA test owing to having to pay a few bucks, BUT, ask yourself if you are worth $50 or not first.
