Bolt wasn't convicted of "hate speech". The conviction you allude to was on a different basis.

You suggest "hate speech" should be banned. I believe that such a restriction on free speech is unwise and impracticable because there is no definition of "hate speech". I illustrate this point by raising the names of some reviled characters (Ivan Milat, Rachel Carson and Cardinal Pell). Such persons are subject to strong condemnation which many would say is both "hate speech" and justified.
