Are our best days ahead of us? That's what Albo says today. I hope he's right of course, because that's the future. But it doesn't always follow. I'm an old timer so my judgement is clouded and I hanker for things past. But I think back to the days when we had Bob Hawke and all was well with the world as far as I was concerned. I thought some time ago that Albo's time was coming. He's not a bad performer and it's probably time for a change of government. But I no longer feel his time has come and, unfortunately, if it has contrary to my judgement, I don't feel optimistic for him. We shall see what we shall see.
