Excellent post Wolf and confirms in my mind that if WA is to see the first Ceto 6 deployment, it will be off Garden Island.

While Albany might be the location that eventually becomes the centre of the wave energy industry in WA, I believe it is well behind GI at this stage.

If CCE decides to deploy Ceto 6 at GI, they will have a large amount of infrastructure already in place. Also, they have the D of D to buy their power and water.

As well, the WA government will not have to find $20 million until sometime in the future as CCE already has the finance to go ahead now.

Of course this all becomes academic if CCE chooses WaveHub for deployment.
