@moondoong; Australia's ASX has indeed been the developed world's worst performing bourse since September 2013.
Today's rout is a classic example - it's viewed as a global shortsellers' dream due to our lax regulation and failure to robustly track money movements.
Will Labor fix the mess and restore confidence in the ASX? I very much doubt it! Until it does though our big super funds will invest everywhere except on the ASX - including direct-funding of state infrastructure projects such as Melbourne's our ring rail network, etc.
