To have sonar turned on while passing by a warship from a hostile country which is building nuclear subs to target at it is totally understandable and to be expected. There is no international law which says a warship must turn off its sonar while passing by another one. Courtesy only at most. Courtesy does not exist between navies of two hostile countries. The unprofessionalism is on the Australian's side which Toowoomba's commander should immediately call back his divers.
