@mogga; what you raised is an important issue. Rejecting rule by extremist mob violence is essential to the survival of democracies.

There's no doubt that Australia was sorely tested throughout the darkest days of the Covid Pandemic. Australia came under terrorist threat from right wing extremists, something now finally acknowledged by our security agencies.

Although 99.9% of Victorians were absolutely disgusted and outraged by the self-indulgent right wing extremists who defiled our streets, defecated on our sacred Shrine of Remembrance and the Westgate Bridge and who thumbed their noses at our efforts to prevent mass deaths ahead of vaccines / cures becoming available; they persisted.

Those offensive, rotten mongrels even verbally abused and spat on nurses waling to work. They launched violent attacks and called for the death of some politicians. Those who chose walk with them became complicit in their violent insurrection.

Once they began physically assaulting police it was game over. As Morrison would say; if they'd been in Russia, they'd no longer be breathing, let alone walking our streets.
