Yes, a lot of history of aggression in the middle east, however, the events of Oct 07 are what is in people's minds. 50, 100, 200, 500 years ago we did not have slaughter recorded on video. The Innocent Palestinian Muslims attacked on postie bikes, quad bikes and hang gliders - and filmed their actions. They attacked a country that had tanks, jet fighters, drones and missiles, I would not have thought that was a good idea. They did have backing from a military group called Hamas but really not enough to protect themselves from retaliation. Just plain stupid.
